There are so many ways you can contribute your time to our Rally! 

We still need a few more volunteers to make our Rally a success. Volunteers are needed for Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30th, Rally Day at Campgaw Reservation in Mahwah.

The following Volunteer positions are open:

SATURDAY:

Saturday Volunteer Lead: We need someone to Lead the 13 volunteers in setting up all the tents, tables and chairs according to the Marketplace plan. This position requires the ability to carry heavier loads. By volunteering on Saturday, you can ride the Rally the next day, if registered.  Setup starts at 9:30 at Campgaw. A catered lunch will be provided.

SUNDAY:

Parking: 4 Volunteers are needed. Coordinate the start time with the Parking Lead -usually between 6-7am. Help in setting up parking cones and leading drivers to parking spots.

SAGs: 2 Volunteers are needed. This is the cyclist equivalent of AAA. Drive along your assigned route and provide SAG support to riders that need it. Gas/fuel expenses will be reimbursed. Report to the SAG lead for information and the routes you will be covering.

Rest Stop: We need 2 more volunteers. There are 4 rest stops with different schedules. Each shift is approximately 4 hours or less. Responsibilities include handing out refreshments and nourishments to the riders and assisting in setting up and taking down the rest stop. This is a fun and rewarding position. All the riders are so appreciative and grateful to see you.

Ride Marshalls: We need 1 volunteer for the 50-mile route and 1 volunteer for 62-mile route.  Volunteers must be pre-registered for the Rally.

There is still an opening for one male rider for this classic New England cycling adventure that links seaside towns, historic villages, sandy beaches, ferry rides, and some of the best bike paths in the Northeast. This nine-day, eight-night loop tour combines relaxed coastal riding with iconic destinations on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and the Massachusetts coast, including a scenic ferry into Boston.  The cost is $1,300 per person, based on double occupancy.
