Chamber Music, Riding, Camping, Eats!  Lanesboro Mass and Wilmington, VT. 
 
August 7 - 10, 2025 (3 nights).  Tour fee: $100 Per person + optional ticket fees. 
 
Chamber Music, Riding, Music, Eats! returns for a 2nd year, tour leaders Jane Porges and Jerry Szubin and guest ride leaders to be announced. We will camp and ride in Berkshires, Mass and enjoy chamber music at The Marlboro Music Festival. Camping will be at Privacy Campground, built against Brodie Mountain in the beautiful rolling landscape of the Northern Berkshires. Amenities include: bathhouse, barn/Rec. center, fire pits & picnic benches, pond including rental boats, wood-fired sauna, hiking and walking trails, spring-fed drinking water, office with camping supplies, and wildlife watching - waterfowl, rabbits, chipmunks, and beavers. Group rides will be offered Thursday afternoon, Friday, Saturday and possibly Sunday morning. Multiple routes suitable for C* and B riders will be made available, including an optional day ride for spectacular views at the top of Mount Greylock, Mass’ highest peak at 3,491 ft. and a road & gravel ride from the campground to Marlboro for more ambitious riders. We will take advantage of outdoor dining at camp for breakfasts and Thurs. dinner will be takeout at camp.  Friday and Saturday evening dining options in Williamstown and North Adams for Marlboro concert goers and all. 
 
The Marlboro Music Festival, founded in 1951, has transformed the world of chamber music and played a vital role in developing generations of new musical leaders. We plan to attend up to three Marlboro concerts, Friday, Saturday evening, and Sunday afternoon.  Concert tickets will be purchased at $30 apiece and group discounts credited to the tour budget for refunds after the tour.

$100 tour fee includes camping three nights, takeout dinner Thursday and breakfasts.  We will place a group order for Marlboro festival tickets, $30 per concert.  Once purchased, you own the ticket, we cannot offer refunds.  Cancellation before July 17, full refund of the $100 tour fee, thereafter best efforts to refund uncommitted money.
