Open space, rivers and lakes, mountains, and nature provide endless options of beautiful cycling opportunities and weekends away. Cities provide endless action, shows, culture, art, and a variety of culinary experiences. What about combining both? Welcome to Philadelphia! 

The Philadelphia tour is intended to combine great cycling experiences, in the surrounding areas of South Jersey and Pennsylvania. Our cycling will span open farmlands and some urban cycling on dedicated trails. You can enjoy historical sites, shows, great restaurants, and art. 

Cycling routes: We plan to offer a few options for each day. Friday will focus on exploring the beautiful spaces of South Jersey before arriving in Philly. Saturday and Sunday will provide options of urban explorations, the wonders of cycling along the Schuylkill River, as well as teaming up with the Philadelphia Cycling Club, and venturing to Bucks County and other surrounding areas. Some will be remote starts. GPS routes will be provided at a later time. 

Hotel:  Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District:  A beautiful city hotel with rooftop pool and gym, at the heart of all major historical sites. Limited to: 24 Club members only, based on 2 per room.  Included: Lodging, Saturday and Sunday hot breakfast, and 2 Happy Hour gatherings. 

Parking: We negotiated a great rate with the hotel $20+ Tax per day ($40+ Tax for the entire period). The parking fee is NOT included in the tour fee and will be paid directly by you, if used.   

Group dinner: A group dinner is not planned. We want participants to enjoy the great restaurants of Philly across different choices and budgets, as opposed to an ordinary group dinner. List of options will be provided. That is what this trip is all about. 

COVID-19 Protocol: As applicable at the time of the trip. Strongly desired, fully vaccinated and boosted.

Uniquely Philly:  Guided cycling tour, with a guide across the historical sites (pending interest).  Co-rides with the Bicycle Club of Philadelphia and SCU: Enjoy joint rides with their experienced leaders.  Potentially attending a show as a group: Standup comedy (for an additional cost).
