19th Annual Memorial Day Weekend Tour in Southern Vermont

The Landgrove Inn, set in the gorgeous countryside between Manchester and South Londonderry, will be our home away from home once again, for the 19th year. 

Each May, the welcoming innkeeper and staff look forward to seeing their BTCNJ friends. The Inn has charming rooms (all with private bath), large and comfortable common areas, storage for bikes, beautiful grounds, outdoor pool, and a lovely dining room. We have reserved the entire Inn with space for 35. We’ll revisit our gorgeous and well-liked cycling routes in the surrounding area (and possibly some new ones). There will also be time to kick back and relax in the peaceful undeveloped surroundings of the Inn. It is Vermont, so don’t expect flat riding, but the routes are crafted for all levels (some shorter and very manageable; others longer and more challenging; and many in between).  Riding Level is C* and above.

The Inn is set on a dirt road, so the ride starts will be remote, but well worth the drive. There are also lots of non-cycling things to do, like hiking (Hapgood Pond and the Catamount Trail are nearby), canoeing, kayaking, quarry swimming, and an alpine slide. Shop farmer’s markets, craft and antiques shops, outlets and art galleries (it’s Open Studio Weekend). Check out museums, historic sites, and quaint towns, like Weston with the Vermont Country Store. Note: No TVs or phones in the rooms. Limited Wifi in the lounge areas only. Virtually no cell service, but you can use the Inn’s phone for short calls. 

The cost for the tour is $455 PPDO and includes: 3 nights lodging, 3 full breakfasts, two 3-course dinners with menu choices (Saturday and Sunday evenings), and cocktail hours with hors d'oeuvres. This weekend has sold out quickly (within 48 hours!) for the last 18 years.

All cancellations will incur a $20 per person cancellation fee, which will be added to the additional gratuities we collect for the very hardworking staff at the Inn. No refunds for cancellations received after April 28 (unless we are able to fill your space).
