Please join us for this important ride to protest the apparent requirements to insure and register pedal assist, low speed e-bikes, which are allowed and used by BTCNJ membership. This rally is sponsored by the New Jersey Bike & Walk Coalition to lobby for changes to the new e-bike law as they pertain to low speed e-bikes. Right now, the law, while ambiguous, seems to require that low speed e-bikes require registration and insurance. The State House Rally starts at 11:30 am.
