This was one of Amado's favorite rides, not only because of the route but because the ride always ended at Turvino's Restaurant. Everyone is invited to join us at Turvino's after the ride.

TREK DOMANE; MEN'S 56 CM FRAME
Sold by Lou Schleifer
$3,950
This Trek Domane was purchased in 2019, and ridden some for about a year, before I bought a sleeker/faster road bike: the Giant TCR. Since that time, I've only been riding this Domane on the rollers.
This bike has the (electronic) Force groupset. When I purchased it, I upgraded the seat. I also switched out the tires for 32mm, to better enable riding on rough surfaces. But the tires have tubes installed. Pedals are NOT included in Sale price.
The category of this model is 'Endurance', which signifies something less than racing performance on the road, but more comfort over the long haul including not just smooth surfaces but also rough ones.
If you're undecided between wanting to stay with a road bike but entertaining the idea of exploring some introductory gravel riding, then this is the bike for you. And it's perfectly outfitted to get you up-and-riding on both types of terrain. I would be keeping it for exactly this purpose, if not for the fact that I ending up going exclusively into gravel riding, and have purchased gravel-specific bikes.

Yep, free, but with a catch. This beautiful Cilo Vitus was donated with a special condition. It has to be donated for free to somebody who wants to get into serious cycling but does not have the resources to buy a high-end bike. So if you know such a person reach out to me.
Some details about the bike. It is a 55cm (C-C) Cilo Vitus made in Switzerland. Frame and fork are all aluminum 979 tubing. Full Shimano 600 group, six speed double with down-tube Simplex shifters. Wheels are 700mm Mavic G40 with 36 stainless spokes, 20mm tires. 3TTT bars and stem.
Please, no Collectors or Resellers. Per the original owner, this has to go to someone who will use it and appreciate a high quality bike. I do want to know where this bike will go to and reserve the right to vet the recipient. Pick up in Scotch Plains.
